Catalog #: CYT-312

Description:
FGF4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 177 amino acids (31-206) and having a molecular mass of 19kDa.
The FGF4 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Synonyms:
HBGF4, FGF-4, FGF4, KFGF, HSTF1.

Source:
Escherichia Coli.

Purity:
Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility:
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF4 Human Recombinant sterile 18M?-cm H2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Formulation:
The FGF4 protein was lyophilized with 0.5xPBS, pH 7.5.

Stability:
Lyophilized FGF4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 °C. Upon reconstitution FGF-4 should be stored at 4 °C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 °C.
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Activity:
The ED50, as determined by its ability to induce the proliferation of mouse NR6R-3T3 fibroblasts, is typically 0.25-1.25 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 800,000-4,000,000 units/mg.

Physical Appearance:
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
