Description:
The E.Coli derived recombinant protein contains the Rubella Virus E1 regions, 157-176, 374-390, 213-239 amino acids. The protein is fused to a GST-tag.
Applications:
Rubella antigen is suitable for ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of Rubella Virus with minimal specificity problems.
Purification Method:
Rubella protein was purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
Purity:
Rubella protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).
Formulation:
20mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 1.5M urea, 10mM b-mercaptoethanol and 25% glycerol.
Stability:
Rubella E1 Protein although stable at 4 °C for 1 week, should be stored below -18 °C.
Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Specificity:
Immunoreactive with sera of Rubella Virus infected individuals.
